These are not the best of times for self styled Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi west senatorial district, as more expose on his activities at Ahmadu Bello University, (ABU) Zaria, continues to hit the cyber space.
A former course mate of Dino Melaye, Eric Morgan, has come out to state that, Melaye was actually involved in some fraudulent act as the president of Geography department in the university.
He stated that, Melaye had forged the Students’ Union Government (SUG) letter head, which he used to solicit for assistance from individuals corporate bodies.
He further stated that, ABG communication donated two satellite cables to students through him, where Melaye mounted it in his room, A36 Sulaiman Hall.
It took the efforts of Eric, Jayesimi Ogunmola and other students to get to his room and recover those cables.
According to Eric, he said, “what I will never forget was the slap I landed him the following night at the Ishaya lecture theatre, where SUG emergency meeting was called to discuss Melaye’s criminal attitude.”
