Reverend Richard Peters of the African Church, Eket Diocese, will on Sunday, October 22,2017, hold a thanksgiving at the church auditorium, to celebrate three years of his priesthood in the church and eight years in God’s vineyard.
The event with the theme; ‘Though my beginning may be small,’ will hold at the African Church, St Paul’s Parish, Uyo Central Diocese, 3 Assam Street, Eket, at 9am.
In a release signed by Samuel Benjamin, the Pastor’s warden, he stated that, the event is opened to all members of the public.
He further stated that, as a Priest, Reverend Richard Peters through God’s abundant grace has in 3/8years built his strength in Union with the Lord. In discharging his Priestly services, his belt has been truth, breastplate – Righteousness, shoes readiness for the Gospel, shield – faith, helmet – Salvation while God’s word has been his SWORD which is given by the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 6:14-17).
