A former Vice Chairman of Eket and front line house of Assembly aspirant in 2019, Hon. Ekanem Willie is to be honoured by the Afaha clan council with a chieftaincy title, “Obong Idorenyin Afaha” (the hope of the people of Afaha clan) on Friday, 4th of May, 2018.
It would be recollected that, Hon. Willie who is also a former board member with The Akwa Ibom State Agency for the control of HIV and AIDS(AKSACA) was also conferred with a chieftaincy of ‘NTANTA Okon’ (the shinning star of okon people) by the okon clan council of chief on the 30th of December, 2017.
Hon. Willie is an entrepreneur whose organization has employed over 50 persons and also a philanthropist, who has touched many lives in many areas.
According to the release, The event is scheduled to coronate the Clan Head of Eket Afaha, and Obong Ikpaisong 1 of Ekid Nation, His Royal Highness, Etebom Monday Daniel at the Primary School, Idung Offiong, Eket, at 10am.
Expected at the event are, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr.Udom Emmanuel, His Royal Majesty, Edidem Edidem ECD Abia, Hon.David Lawrence, Mr.Frank Archibong, Mrs.Grace Odungide, H/H Chief.Enim Jimmy and the entire Ekid people.
