According to eye witnesses report, FRSC chased a vehicle which loaded from calabar to uyo for not paying 500 Naira.

The accident took place along nkim itam at 4pm today.

  1. @Admin the story of officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps along Calabar-Itu Highway chasing after a vehicle which resulted to a fatal crash which claimed the lives of 11 persons was not true and not an eyes witness report. Actually there was a crash involving one High quality bread VanToyota Hiace (reg. no. KMM240XA) which lost control and ran into two (2) motorcycles which left 2 persons dead and 2 injured. Villagers almost burn down the vehicle but not for the intervention of uniform men (Safer Highway Patrol Team). The officials of the FRSC were only there for rescue. besides, the pictorial evidence clearly shows a picture of FRSC officials possibly in a Mobile Court in a developed township and not remote areas like Calabar – Itu Highway. So always affirm the authenticity of stories before making it go viral, than publishing stories that are defamatory and derogatory to ones image and reputations. In the name of generating traffic to a site.
