Reports reaching Trail Reporters News Room revealed that the former 2015 Governorship aspirant, Ambassador Chukwuma Gabriel Oyibode who contested under the platform of PDP has finally made up his mind to represent the good people of Delta North Senatorial district come 2019 under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC). Amb. Chukwuma Gabriel Oyibode a.k.a “the Servant Man” our medium gathered, is a Real Estate Consultant, a Business man and a philanthropist.
We gathered that he is a man with dual ethnicity, born on the 28th of April, 1968 in Lagos into the families of Late Engr. Sampson Oyibode Ogwu of Ezionum kingdom in Ukwuani LGA and Mrs. Juliana Oghenekevwe Emonefe of Urhuokpe Urhuekpagha in Kokori town of Ethiope East LGA all in Delta State of Nigeria.
Speaking with our correspondent in a telephone conversation, Amb. Chukwuma Gabriel Oyibode confirmed his intentions to run for Delta North Senatorial position come 2019 under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC) and highlighted his mission statement as follows if elected by the good people of Delta North Senatorial District;
* To ensure infrastructural Renewal and expansion
* To provide Free Technical Education
* To revatilise Agriculture and attract the building of Agro-Allied industries
* To lead an Economic and industrial Revolution in the area of Seaports and Transportation which will harness the drive and entrepreneurial spirit of Deltans.
* To attract world class health care and eradicate travelling abroad for medical check up.
“To engage Delta Northerners in Diaspora to invest and take part in the growth and development of the State.
* To reunite and reposition the Anioma Nation with all other ethnic groups in Delta in order to ensure concrete dividends of democracy.
Also speaking with one of the prominent leaders from Anioma, he lamented bitterly the poor representation of the good people of Delta North Senatorial District by Senator Peter Nwaoboshi with little or nothing to show for his stay in the Senate.
The leader from Anioma who doesn’t want his name in print for security reasons was quoted as saying ” Our Senator currently representing Delta North has failed us completely and we are wiser now and will only vote for a credible person like Amb. Chukwuma Gabriel Oyibode who has integrity and will not use consistuency money meant for projects to build houses and buy hotels for themselves”. As at the time of going to the Press, flyers of Amb.
