In what may seem to be an end of the road for Usoro Akpanusoh, in his quest to return to the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly for the second time, Trail Reporters can authoritatively report that, there is an ongoing meeting at the Ewet housing residence of Elder Benji Udobia, the Political Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Esit Eket.
According to our authoritative sources, the Esit Eket lawmaker was taken to the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, this morning, Friday, April 27, 2018, for acceptance on his second term ambition, but the Governor told the gathering, that Usoro Akpanusoh did not work for him in 2015, and has been frolicking with the All Progressives Congress.
Go and shop for a replacement for him, the Governor was quoted as telling Elder Benji Udobia, which has led to a meeting of political stakeholders from Esit Eket this evening.
Governor Udom Emmanuel was said to have blamed Usoro for the exit of the former Chairman of Esit Eket, and the immediate past Special Assistant on project monitoring, Mr.Ibanga Etang.
Efforts to speak with Elder Benji Udobia, were unsuccessful, as he was said to be in a high powered meeting.
