The battle for the soul of Kogi state is far from being over, as the state Governor, Yahaya Bello who is having a running battle with Senator Dino Melaye, has ordered for the demolition of Melaye’s New Constituency Office.
We gathered that, the newly completed Kogi West constituency office built by Senator Dino Melaye has been marked for demolition by Kogi State Town Planning Board, on the orders of the state Governor, sources informed Trail Reporters.
Checks revealed that, this action is coming few days after Dino Melaye had raised an alarm that Kogi state government has concluded plans to demolish all his properties in the state.
This may not be unconnected to the imbroglio, currently rocking the political space in the state, as seen in the Kabba day celebration, which left a sad story to tell, a source was quoted.
As at the time of this report, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor was not available for comment on the matter.
