BELIEVE IN GOOD EDUCATION, PROF UDOUDO CHARGES NIGERIAN YOUTHS

Professor Aniefiok Udoudo, has charged Nigerians to believe in good education, as there is no shortcut to success.

Udoudo stated this, at a Thanksgiving Service on Saturday, in his honour, at Church of Christ, Ebom Avenue, Abak, on his promotion to the rank of a Professor in the University of Port Harcourt.

Prof. Aniefiok, who is also the Head of Department, Linguistics and Communication Studies in Uniport, said, he grew up with his parents, who had no formal education, and was inspired by teachers in a primary school in his village, and also a Principal of a secondary School in his Local Government Area, and he had wanted to be a Teacher.

He stated that, though he practiced Journalism for few years, he was happy to live his dream today, in becoming a Teacher of Journalism.

He advised people never to give up, and to believe in Education. He further stated that, as Christians, you still need Education to be a good Christian.

One of my greatest challenges in the teaching profession is that, students misconstrue my person, and feel that I am too strict, Udoudo said.

Friends and Colleagues, who thronged the Independence Hall, Abak, for the reception, were full of praises for Prof. Udoudo, and thanked God for his elevation.
