COVID 19: NAT.ASSEMBLY MEMBER, PAT IFON DONATES PALLIATIVES TO CONSTITUENTS

The Member representing Eket/ONNA/Esit Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Mr.Patrick Ifon has donated bags of rice, noodles and sanitizers to the four local government areas in the Federal Constituency.

Patrick Ifon who was represented by his wife, Dr.Elsie Ifon,said the gesture was to complete the efforts put in place by Governor Udom Emmanuel, to cushion the effects occasioned by the lockdown in the state.

Receiving the items on behalf of Esit Eket local government, the Chairman, of Council, who was represented by the Vice Chairman, Mr.Samuel Itama, thanked the National Assembly Member for the support to the local government, and promised that the most vulnerable persons will benefit from the items.

At Ibeno local government council, the Vice Chairman who received the items, was full of praises to the Member of the National Assembly, for his love for Ibeno people at this crucial time.

Presenting the items in Eket, the Chairman of Council, Mr.Frank Archibong, who received the items said, It is one thing to have, and it is another thing to give. It is also one thing to vote and another thing to remember those who voted for you. He thanked Mr.Patrick Ifon, and reiterated that precautionary measures be taken on the prevention of COVID 19, as the mobile court set up by the state government in the Senatorial district is sitting in Eket. Frank Archibong further directed that the items be shared to all deserving persons in Eket, irrespective of party lines.

In ONNA, the Chairman of Council, Mr.Imoh Attat, who received the items on behalf of the people of his area, said, it will be distributed across the 42 villages in ONNA.

A former Vice Chairman in Eket, Mr.Ekanem Willie, who accompanied the wife of the Legislator on the visits, thanked everyone in the Federal Constituency for the support so far given to Pat Ifon, since his assumption of office.
