The court of Appeal sitting in Benin, has dismissed the appeal filed before it by learned a lawyer, A. M. Akintola on behalf of Prophet Jones Erue, the factional Chairman of the APC in Delta state.
The court affirmed that, the appeal is unmeritorious and all grounds of appeal is grossly incompetent.
The Appeal Court also upheld that all the Trial Court Orders including the NO SUBMISSION OF NAMES TO INEC by both parties made on August 17th, 2018, are binding on all parties.
A total cost of N300,000 ( Three Hundred Thousand Naira ) only, was awarded against the Appellants, the National Chairman of APC and Comr. Adams Oshiomole.
Sources at the court say, the implication of this judgement is that, Chief Great Ogboru and all others candidates under the Prophet Jones Erue stands disqualified.
With the judgment, Delta State APC Chairman Olorogun Cyril Abeye Ogodo Abeye Ogodo and his entire State Working Committee and Candidates have been affirmed.
