…FORMER DEPUTY GOVERNOR, PROF UTUAMA, PROD OYOVBAIRE, PROF MUOBOGHARE SEALED THE DEAL IN FAVOUR OF AMORI.
The prolonged race for 2019 Delta Central Senatorial ticket under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is gradually coming to an end as top ranking aspirant, Senator Ighoyota Amori carries the day through unprecedented endorsements by super party leaders and chieftains across the state.
AMORI, a founding member of PDP has a long positive record of absolute loyalty to the party, and have in time past and presently held important positions in Delta State and at the national sphere, first as pioneer Publicity Secretary of Delta PDP and as incumbent Political Adviser to PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus.
Former Deputy Governor of the State, Prof UTUAMA while edorsing Senator Amori at his country home recently, said other leaders and chieftains are solidly behind AMORI’s senatorial bid and advised other ‘wanna be” aspirants to honourably accept the reality on ground so as not to face rejection at the forthcoming senatorial primaries.
It is only a blind person with no ears that would ignore the massive support AMORI meritoriously garnered in his consultations across the eight local government areas that constitutes Delta Central Senatorial District.
It has also been observed by political analysis that the other senatorial aspirants under PDP have all gone underground since several heavyweight politicians and key party leaders and founding members of PDP openly gave their blessings to Amori, anointed him as the choice of the party and delegates in the present dispensation.
Amori is known to be a humble and responsive leader who many described as stable, focused, detribalised, reliable, honest and above all, a promise keeper; willing and ever ready to give the good people of Dellta Central quality representation devoid of “mace running, area boy conduct, legislative criminality and back stabbing of other distinguished senators.”
A frontline re-election exponent and super aspirant, Hon Evance Ivwurie representing Ethiope East Constituency posited that “there can be no other senatorial aspirant and candidate other than Distinguished Senator Ighoyota Amori. He said AMORI for senate remains the collective responsibility of PDP political structures in central, pointing out that the other aspirants must of a necessity wake up from their deep political slumbers to embrace the AMORI candidacy.
Prof Sam Oyivbaire known by upper caucus as “Father of Government and Chairman of Elders Peace Council” declared that “if it is not Senator Ighoyota Amori, it cannot be any other aspirant as far as 2019 Delta Central Race is concerned.
Prof Oyivbaire while playing host to AMORI consultation team led by Elegbete Moses Odibo, further asserted that the history of Delta PDP will not be complete without the name Ighoyota Amori. He noted that while others left the party to look for greener pastures elsewhere, Senator Ighoyota Amori stood firm, worked very hard for the re-branding of PDP.
The Professor of Political Science further enthused that AMORI can be likened to the proverbial Peter the Rock upon whom PDP built it’s base in Delta, as can be seen from the massive support he (AMORI) gave former Governor, Chief James IBORI and subsequent administration’s till date.
Oyovbaire’s postulations were corroborated by the kind words by Prof UTUAMA who said Amori is the only human vessel in Urhobo Nation, trusted and good enough to occupy Delta Central seat at the red chambers, come 2019.
Prof Muoboghare while rooting for Amori’s candidacy at various consultation visits across the senatorial districts maintained his full support for Amori who he described as a responsible and proactive leader with a listening years.
He noted that Urhobo Nation have been ridicled by the legislative rascality of the APC Senator currently on suspension at the red chambers as a result of series of jungle politics and shameful macing running deals.
Prof Muoboghare further reasoned that Amori is a clean man with no trace of rascality, no dishonesty and no criminal tendencies and as such deserves the support and push by all well meaning Urhobo sons and daughters at home and Diaspora, adding that come 2019, Urhobo nation shall vote for Gov Okowa, Senator Amori and other candidates under PDP. He mocked the monumental collapse of APC and the BUHARI administration.
It is now very clear that AMORI’s victory at the primaries and general elections in 2019, remains positive and shall dislodge any APC candidate, either serving senator or a first timer, with a wide margin.
AMORI is a man of substance, loved by Urhobo Nation and party men and women across board; and as such his victory shall be landslide because the people and elders of PDP in Delta Central have made up their minds on the best candidate in the person of ODIDIMADI of Africa, going forward.
