The member representing Eket in the Federal House of Representatives, Owoidighe Ekpoatai yesterday at her constituency office in Eket, hosted widows from her constituency, disabled persons and friends of Ma Ekpoattai, who came in their number.
Briefing Journalists at the occasion, the House member stated that, this was her way of showing love to the people in this season of Christmas celebration.

Items distributed at the event were bags of rice, food items, wrappers and cash. She said, money has not been released by the Federal Government for constituency projects, which was captured in the 2017 budget, also, that percentage of budget implementation has been very low, which is why there is no zonal interventions.
She further stated that, she had introduced health care system to her constituency, which thousands have benefited, including empowerments and jobs at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Prisons, Federal Civil Service, etc.
She further wished her constituents a merry Christmas.
