The Member representing Eket State Constituency at the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. David Lawrence, yesterday, Monday 23rd, April 2018, flagged off the Bursary scheme for Eket Students studying in Tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
David Lawrence, who was represented by his Special Assistant on Administration, Mr. David Udo, the House member officially gave out the Bursary forms to the Worldwide President of EKSA, Comrade Akanimo Ifiok Obong, who also doubles as the Secretary National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS.
According to the SA Admin, the distribution of forms begins today, Tuesday, 24th. April and closes on Monday, 30th. April 2018, from 9am-4pm, at the under listed locations.
1. Eket Constituecy Office, 73 Esuene Way ( Eket-Oron Road), Eket.
2. Office of the Deputy Chief Whip, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Udo Udoma road, Uyo.
Remarking at the event, the worldwide president of Eket Students’ Association, Akanimo Ifiok said, Political office holders in Eket had long forgotten the students.
He thanked the lawmaker on behalf of Ekid students, and poured encomiums on the Deputy Chief Whip, saying they were ready to work with the House member.
