The National Legal Adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem, has congratulated Governor Udom Emmanuel, on his historic victory at the just concluded general elections. Describing the victory recorded by Governor Udom Emmanuel at the polls on the 19th of March, the Legal luminary adjudged as landslide, deserving and divinely ordained. Quoting late Archbishop Benson Idahosa, he posited that, the collective faith of all Akwa Ibom people had said yes to Governor Udom Emmanuel’s emergence, therefore, even God could not have said no. ” I write to congratulate you on your victory at the just concluded Guber polls. Just like the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa had said, “When your faith says yes, God will not say no”. Our collective faith had since said yes, and ONLY GOD took us to the battle front and we returned victorious”.
In a statement signed by the PDP National Legal helmsman and made available to the media, the political master strategist reminisced on the unparalleled commitment engendered by the administration of Governor Udom Emmanuel, towards deepening and ensuring growth and sustainable development in the State through his administration’s visibly unprecedented achievements.
Adumbrating further on his tweeter handle, the National Legal Adviser noted with delight the fact that, Governor Emmanuel’s victory has been considerably reflective of the peoples adjudication of his well thought out policies and people oriented programmes littered across the length and breadth of the State, hence, the reason why the people overwhelmingly voted for the Governor. He also noted that the Governor’s visionary leadership towards reinvigorating and oxygenating the industrial sub-sector in our state is worth acknowledging.
The statement focuses on the rapid industrial renaissance witnessed in the State as the cardinal reason Akwa Ibom people apparently stemmed all seeming opposition to unanimously entrust Governor Emmanuel with their mandates to continue the good work of inundating the state with industrial rebirth as witnessed in the last few years of his administration.
While hoping for more democratic dividends for Akwa Ibom people in the coming years, Barr. Enoidem, in some of his separate speeches, assured that in view of the numerous strides recorded in the last few years, that Akwa Ibom State is yet to experience more industrial resurgences, as the governor is set to deliver on all the wheels of his campaign promises. He also prayed that God should grant Governor Emmanuel more foresight and enablement to take Akwa Ibom State to a higher pedestal in the coming years. “It is our prayer that God will grant you the grace and enablement to continue to pilot the affairs of our dear State in the next four years”.
He also assured Governor Udom Emmanuel of the continuous support of Akwa Ibom people to stand solidly by him towards taking the State to her eldorado. “I want to assure you that the good people of Akwa Ibom, who unilaterally gave you their mandate are solidly behind you. May this new mandate bring untold blessings and rapid development to us all”.
