.. as ISD Councillors adopt and endorse Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem as their sole aspirant.
It was an atmosphere of Joy, jollity and merriment as the frontline aspirant for Akwa Ibom Northwest Senatorial District, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem consulted all Councillors from the ten Local Government Areas in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District.
The ambience was congenial, faces were clothed with uninterrupted brightness, even as Barr. Enoidem exuded immense confidence and assurance as he cruise victoriously towards nomination in May 14, 2022.
Amidst consultation, the international President, Maintain Peace Movement, MPM, treated the Councilors to a sumptuous reception, intimating them of his far – reaching Senatorial ambition.
The MPM Boss clearly described with uncommon demeanor his senatorial bid as a monumental movement to foster advancement, consolidate on the gains of past representatives, engender emancipation to the people and institute a paradigm shifting representation in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District.
He informed Councillors of his well intentioned and marshalled out plans to position Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District on the center stage of discuss at the Red Chambers, towards attracting the much needed political and democratic benefits to the district.
Barr. Enoidem appealed to Councillors to accord him support, give him their votes to enable him go to the Senate come 2023, assuring them of effective representation, synergy and all inclusive politics.
Admonishing Councillors to engage in politics of growth and establishment, the leading aspirant for Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem recounted how possible political growth can be in view using Former Lawmaker, Hon. Gabriel Toby and the incumbent Executive Chairman, Etim Ekpo LGA, Hon. Imeh Afia as instant cases, where both rode on the planes of Councillorship to become who they are today.
While emphasizing that politicians who engage themselves with fetish dealings are evil, satanic and liars, Barr. Enoidem urged the Councillors to eschew politics of oath taking and mortgaging of their consciences. He appealed to them to subscribe to superior reason, take logical decision, consider him the best and vote for him in the fourth coming PDP primaries, as he will not have money enough to buy their collective consciences nor subject them to oath taking as other politicians do, but promised to make them proud on getting to the Senate.
“Anybody who promise you fat some of money, subject you to taking of oath in exchange for your vote is evil, satanic and a liar, truth is far from him and of course, he has ill conceived intentions. Above all, he can’t perform any better because his foundation was faulty”. Barr. Enoidem said.
He presented to them himself as the best to represent Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, given his track records, antecedent and pedigree, having served the party meritoriously all his life.
Distinctively enumerating the merits of his ambition to Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, Barr. Enoidem informed Councillors that his ambition intertwines with that of the frontline Governorship aspirant, Pastor Umo Eno. He noted that with the entrepreneurial acumen of Pastor Umo Eno more Small and Medium Scale Enterprises(SMEs) would be birthed in Akwa Ibom State.
The Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District hopeful stated that the success story of Pastor Umo Eno as a successful business man, a seasoned entrepreneur and administrator would be replicated in Akwa Ibom State, adding that his campaigns run a shared and inseparable ticket with that of Pastor Umo Eno.
He persuaded the Councillors to equally vote for Pastor Umo Eno during the fourth coming Primaries as a vote for him is a vote for Pastor Umo Eno.
Replete with enthusiasm, the Councilors roundly assured Barr. Enoidem of their unanimous and unalloyed support for him to clinch travel ticket to the Red Chambers.
They expressed satisfaction in Barr. Enoidem’s candidacy as the only person fit to fast track the much needed reforms in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, adding that, his candidature is for the greatest good of all.
The Councillors undauntedly moved a motion for the adoption and endorsement of Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem as their sole aspirant for Akwa Ibom Northwest Senatorial District race come 2023.
“Having considered Barr. Enoidem’s stance, his policies, philosophies, pedigree and antecedents. Also, taking into cognizance the rare attributes of Barr. Enoidem as it concerns Human Capital Development, empowerment and exceptional leadership style, l stand on behalf of all the Leaders of Legislature and Councillors in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District to move a motion for the adoption and endorsement of Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem as our sole aspirant for Senate seat come 2023, I so move”. Hon. Sunday Akpan moved.
The motion which was duly seconded by the Leader, Abak Legislature, Hon. Queen Sandra Bassey attracted a Yea response from all the Councillors. “And the Yea have it”.
Duly endorsed by the Councillors, Barr. Enoidem promised to make them proud and fuse them in his scheme of things on getting to the Senate.
Giving vote of thanks, the Member Representing Abak Federal Constituency, Hon. Aniekan Umanah appreciated the Councillors for their show of love and solidarity, praying God to bless them and lead them back safely to their various abodes.
