Political Communication expert and Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State, Barrister Fred Oghenesivbe has been duly enrolled into the new PDP membership register recently delivered to the State Chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) under the chairmanship of Olorogun Kingsley Esiso.
The membership card signed by the party’s National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus and other Principal Officers was presented to Oghenesivbe by the Chairman of Kokori Ward 6 PDP, Chief Igbuyama at the May 2018 general meeting of Ethiope East PDP.
Igbuyama while presenting the card said Oghenesivbe has the privilege of being the first party member in the ward to be officially registered and presented with the new beautifully designed membership card.
“Ward 6 PDP Kokori is proud of your credibility and hard work in projecting our great party, the governor’s programmes and policies as well as the enviable performances of the Okowa administration.
“On behalf of our party leaders at the National, State, LGA and Ward levels, I congrateute you for this early registration in the new national membership register of our great party,” Igbuyama said.
Responding, Oghenesivbe thanked the Ward Exco and its Chairman for their result oriented leadership and promised to adhere to the relevant party constitutional provisions concerning the obligations of members.
“I am delighted to have been registered in the new membership register of our party on the very day it was presented to PDP Ward 6 by party LGA Chairman, Hon. Felix Erhimedafe. It’s heart warming.
“The unique thing about the process is that I didn’t have to pay for the card because our state leader, His Excellency Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, wrote off the bill by paying for cards delivered to Delta State Chapter with his hard earned sources. God shall continue to bless our SMART GOVERNOR for his kind gestures,” Oghenesivbe added.
Members of PDP in Delta State are advised to update their membership by making themselves available for registration so as to have their names entered into the new register of the party. Members are to contact their Ward Chairmen and Secretaries for the exercise.
The membership card presentation was witnessed by the general meeting of PDP Ethiope East LGA including; Delta PDP Organising Secretary, Chief Sunday Onoriode, Ethiope East PDP LGA Chairman, Hon Felix Erhimedafe, LGA Party Leader, Chief Bernard Edewor.
Others are; Party Chieftain Rose Esiso, Ward 6 Chairman, Ward Secretary, Woman Leader Ward 6 and SSA to the Governor on Political Matters, Olorogun Kent Okiemute Kigho.
