KATSINA SSG IN TROUBLE OVER ALLEGED MISUSE OF N1.4 BILLION AMNESTY FUND

The Katsina state Chairman of the National Conscience Party (NCP) and former gubernatorial aspirant Abdulmumin Shehu Sani has called on Governor Aminu Bello Masari to suspend the Katsina state secretary to the state government Dr. Mustapha Inuwa pending completion of investigation over alleged allegation against him for misuse of N1.4 billion for the amnesty program for Fulani cattle rustlers.

The Chairman in a 2 pages letter addressed to Governor Aminu Bello Madari dated 17th July, 2017 and made available to the newsmen in Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumin Shehu Sani pointing out that APC got the mandate of the people of Katsina state through its campaign of transparency and accountability in governance.

He urged Governor Masari to emulate the incorruptible, honest and transparent leadership qualities of President Muhammadu Buhari by borrowing a leaf on Buhari commitment to ensuring transparency in governance when he suspended the SGF Babachir who was accused of corruption of over N400million.

Alhaji Abdulmumin Shehu Sani pointed out that leaving Mustapha Inuwa to remain as the secretary to the state government in katsina state might hampered investigation by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission EFCC as vital documents are either directly in his custody or indirectly under his subordinates who can manipulate to temper with such vital documents.
He said by doing so, the people of Katsina and Nigeria will have confidence in you and that you totally believed on the principles of President Buhari of honesty, integrity, and credibility
