The incoming chairman of Eket local government, Mr Frank Archibong has expressed sincere appreciation to all women in Eket for trooping out enmasse to Ibom Hall yesterday in solidarity and support to His Excellency Governor Udom Emmanuel.
For all those present, it was clear that the women of Eket played a pivotal role and were very colourful and conspicuously visible at the epochal declaration ceremony.
The ongoing village to village sensitization tour will resume today, Tuesday, November 28, 2017 with a tour of Urban 2 and Urban 4.

2. Ekpene Ukpa – 9:30am
3. Idung Udofa – 10:00am
4. Atabong – 10:30am
5. Mkpok – 11:00am
6. Okopedi – 11:30am
7. Afaha Uqua Ndon – 12:00pm
8. Afaha Uqua Obokidim – 12:30pm
9. Etebi Idung Iwak – 1:00pm
10. Atibe – 1:30pm
11. Atai Ndon – 2:00pm
12. Ekpene – 2:30pm
13. Idua – 3:00pm
During the visit to each community, the party is expected to present the chairmanship candidate Hon Frank Archibong and his running mate, Nsikak John, as well as the councillorship candidates, who will take turn to share their programmes with the people.
All are hereby invited to come out in their numbers to be a part of this making of history.
