Prof Kolapo Olusola Eleka has emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Ekiti State governorship election which is scheduled for July 14, 2018.
Prof. Kolapo scored 1191 votes to defeat his closest rival, Prince Adedayo Adeyeye, who scored 770 votes.
Until his election as Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Prof Olusola was an accomplished teacher in the Department of Building, Obafemi Awolowo University for twenty-four (24) years.
He will now face his main rival in the general elections, when the All Progressives Congress (APC) concludes its rescheduled primaries.
