The Governor of Rivers State, Mr. Nyesom Wike, yesterday, in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, paid a solidarity visit to the state over fulani herdmens attack on Benue indigenes.
The Governor donated N200million to Benue State on behalf of the Rivers State Government for the purchase of relief materials and medicine for victims of the attacks.

The Governor of Benue State, Mr. Samuel Ortom, led Wike and his delegation to the site, where the victims where buried in mass graves.
The Rivers State Governor condoled with the people, and advised for proactive steps to be taken to forestall future occurrences.
