Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN), has on Tuesday been ordered by the Senate to remove all speed bumps indiscriminately erected on federal highways nationwide.
In a motion sponsored by Senators Barnabas Gemade, PDP-Benue and Stella Oduah, PDP-Anambra, the Senate raised concern over the difficulties road users experience on federal roads, and unanimously resolved to have it removed by the Ministry of Works.
