The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator Dr. George Akume, has congratulated Mr. Benedict Ater for emerging as the Overall Best Graduate of the Nigerian Law School, Class of 2025.
Mr. Ater, a native of Tarka Local Government Area of Benue State, distinguished himself academically by graduating with First Class Honours in Law (LLB) from Benue State University (BSU) and subsequently securing a First Class at the Nigerian Law School, Bwari, Abuja, where he was ranked the overall best in the country.
Receiving him at his Maitama residence in Abuja, Senator Akume described the feat as a source of pride and a significant achievement not only for the Ater family but also for Benue State and Nigeria at large. He commended Mr. Ater for his exceptional dedication, discipline, and brilliance, which he noted had brought honour to the State and set a benchmark of excellence for other young Nigerians.
The SGF further encouraged Nigerian youths to emulate Mr. Ater’s commitment to hard work and academic excellence, assuring that the Federal Government remains committed to creating an enabling environment for young talents to thrive.
