As part of compensating Nsima Ekere also, when Attah had nominated Ekpo Otu as Akpabio’s Deputy, at the instance of Obasanjo and other stakeholders, Nsima was later given a Deputy Governorship slot in 2011, with a promise of becoming a Governor after Akpabio, which he could not manage, due to over ambitiousness, and was eventually removed in 2012.
