A former Minister of State for FCT, Senator John James Udoedehe has said, the idea of throwing money on people is enslavement. People say I’m stingy, but I don’t fancy throwing money on people. It is against my principles. The Former Minister stated this at his residence when he played host to Online Publishers in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.
He said, the All Progressives Congress in the State have made peace, but history cannot be forgotten. “We have paid the price for leadership, We have swallowed bitter pills because they said we are troublesome people.” Udoedehe said. The people I brought to the party, I have sent them out of the Party.
Udoedehe also said, he has never earned money as a contractor or Commissioner in Akwa Ibom State. While answering questions on his days as a Local Government Chairman, He said, there were a lot of maturity in government during the era. I created wards for Etoi and Ikono as local government chairman.
Speaking further on his mission for Akwa Ibom people, The Former senator was quoted as saying, “I am not a violent man. I have no apology for any one. I want to destroy the physical and spiritual web Akpabio has covered Akwa Ibom with.”
There’s a structure that is holding Udom, that’s the structure I want to destroy. It is PDP’s interest to keep us divided. We cannot allow the enslavement of Akpabio to continue. They are afraid of my probe. It is PDP strategy to use zoning. APC must use another strategy. I’m not only running for Governorship, I’m winning.
He recounted his days in the senate, and also said, he took the National Assembly to court and won, but was suspended in senate for two weeks.
