Former Governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi said, he is rejecting an award of honour which was to be given to him on May 27 by the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.
Amaechi said, “any award from Wike is a poisoned chalice.”
As at the time of this report, efforts to reach the Governor’s Special Assistant on Media, to react were unsuccessful.
