DESPITE ALLEGED RESIGNATION, MKPAT ENIN TRANSITION CHAIR, EKAETTE USIP ALLEGEDLY STORMS COUNCIL WITH THUGS

Reports on Trail Reporters news desk, shows that, the transition committee Chairman in Mkpat Enin, Ekaette Usip on Thursday, October 13, 2017, allegedly stormed the local government council with thugs numbering over fifty, to enable her appropriate the council funds illegally, when she had allegedly tendered her resignation, to contest the Peoples Democratic Party primaries held recently, ahead of the December 2, 2017 local government elections in the state.

Sources who spoke with our medium said, when Ekaette forced her way into the council with the alleged thugs, threatening members of the transition committee, who staged a walk out, and the police where called in to arrest the situation.

Findings revealed that, she did not submit her resignation letter to the transition committee before proceeding for the PDP primaries, which she failed to clinch the ticket.

Highly placed sources who spoke with our medium said, the issue is not peculiar to Mkpat Enin, as all the persons who lost election has gotten a letter from the “system” to return to their respective local government councils as chairmen or chair persons.

In a suit filed at the state high court, the plaintiff, Unyime Ekwerre has dragged the former transition chairmen to court, whose hearing comes up in high court 2, Uyo on October 23, 2017.

In a text message sent to Ekaette for reaction on her mobile number, 080309700** about twenty four hours after the incident, she never responded as at the time of this report.
