DEAD TOLL ON BUHARI’S APPOINTMENTS RISES TO EIGHT, AS SEARCH FOR MORE CONTINUES

Trail Reporters findings on the recently released list of appointments from the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha continues, as eight persons have been confirmed to have died.

Our medium,yesterday, broke the news of four persons on the list who were dead, and our search team on the list had continued.

Ahmed Bunza, from Kebbi State, was appointed into the board of the Rubber Research Institute, Benin.

Magdalene Kumu, from Taraba State, was appointed to the board of the National film and video censors board (NFVCB) .

Dr.Nabbs Imegwu, a former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Rivers State, was appointed to the board of the National Orthopedic Hospitals.

Senator Francis Okpozo, who passed on at 81 in 2016, and was named Chairman, Nigerian Press Council (NPC).

Deputy Inspector General of Police and elder statesman, Donald Ugbaja (rtd), from Delta State, was appointed member of the Consumer Protection Council.

The founder of Fidei Polytechnic, Very Rev Fr Christopher Utov appointed a member of the board of the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research. Fr. Utov was until his death this year, the proprietor of Fidei Polytechnic in Gboko, Benue State. He died on March 17, 2017 in India after battling with an undisclosed ailment and was buried in April 13, 2017, at Gboko.

Umar Dange Sokoto, former emir of Katagum in Bauchi state, who died on December 9th, was appointed to the board of the Federal Medical Centre, Azare, also in Bauchi.

Garba Attahiru died in may, 2016.
