Reports reaching Trail Reporters News Room has revealed that there are serious alleged plots by Members of Delta State Polytechnic Governing Council, Oghara, spearheaded by Barr. Brave Enodeh to eliminate a whistleblower, Osiobe Ovie for exposing acts of massive corruption of over one billion naira against them which led to their arrest recently by EFCC and Special Presidential Panel on Recovery of Public Property.
Our medium gathered that in a bid to frustrate ongoing investigations, Barr. Brave Enodeh in connivance with other Council members of the Polytechnic, launched an after thought petition filled with lies through the office of AIG Zone 5 Police Headquarters, Benin-City.
Trail Reporters were reliably informed that after huge sums of money had exchanged hands, a “Post No Bill and Arrest On Sight Order” was immediately placed on Mr. Osiobe Ovie Ecobank Account 2722038304 by Police Officers from AIG Zone 5 Benin-City even when the account was neither used for money laundering nor used for any illegal transaction before he was officially called by a police officer informing him of a petition against him by Barr. Brave Enodeh which he promised to honour the invitation and respond to the allegations.
It was learnt that Mr. Ovie later discovered the trap by the police when he could no longer carry out transactions with the said frozen account, that it was a plot by Barr. Brave Enodeh and the Office of AIG Zone 5 Police Headquarters to arrest him over false allegations and perfect the plans of his assassination by hook or by crook.
Discreet investigation by our crack team of Journalists revealed that there is an orchestrated and well coordinated plot by not only Barr. Brave Enodeh but other Council members of the Delta State Polytechnic, Oghara to illegally use Police Officers from the office of AIG Zone 5 Police Headquarters, Benin-City to track and arrest Mr. Osiobe Ovie on trump up allegations and poison him while he is being detained or allow Brave Enodeh and his thugs to perfect the assassination plot themselves all in a bid to frustrate their ongoing investigations by both EFCC Port Harcourt Zonal Office and the Special Presidential Panel on Recovery of Public Property in a fraud case of over 0ne billion naira reported against them by the whistle blower, Osiobe Ovie in which Brave Enodeh is a Co-conspirator and had been arrested and granted administrative bail by both EFCC and Special Presidential Panel recently in March 2018 after which he ran to AIG Zone 5 Headquarters to petition against Mr. Ovie.
Trail Reporters also learnt that wealthy and prominent alleged criminals within the Zone now take the office of the AIG Zone 5 Police Headquarters Benin-City as their Safe Haven to launch attack on their perceived enemies who exposes them over their crimes.
Speaking to Mr. Osiobe Ovie in Abuja, he confirmed the threat to his life and informed our Reporters that he had officially informed the Inspector-General of Police in which the Chairman of both the Special Presidential Panel on Recovery of Public Property and EFCC were copied and was still awaiting further directives by the IGP.
Speaking further, Osiobe Ovie said, he was calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to Save his life by directing the Inspector-General of Police, Chairman Presidential Panel on Recovery of Public Property and the Chairman of EFCC to take urgent action and immediately arrest and prosecute these high profile corrupt suspects who have the full backing of the Delta State Government for looting public funds and also ensure that he is not murdered in cold blood by these suspects.
As at the time of filing in this report, efforts to speak with the Police Force PRO, CSP Jimoh Moshood to comment was unsuccessful as several calls place to his telephone line were unanswered.
