Days after Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari made a scathing comment at the Common Wealth Heads Of Government Meeting in the United Kingdom, youths in the country has taken to the social media to vent their anger on the President, in what they described as a statement, tagging the Nigerian youths as being “lazy.” and depending on free healthcare and oil money.
Some of the youths said, Few days ago, President Muhammadu Buhari 76 years old, was quoted as saying “A lot of Nigerian youths haven’t been to school yet they want everything free”
The most baffling thing about his remarks is that the question was about investment opportunities in the North East and he succeeded in raising questions in the mind of investors who may want to invest in the people.
President Buhari’s mindset and attention to detail is deficient and this is a call to every Nigerian on the need for us to get a younger Nigerian as president come 2019 elections.

I have no personal grudge against President Buhari, I think he has given Nigeria his best and it is time for him to step aside or find a protege to hand over mantle of leadership to.
As we approach 2019, let us start discussions on what the ideal Nigerian President should be.

There are moves for the launch of a campaign by the youths, to work and vote for candidates who are 50years below.
