A frontline Aspirant for the 2019 Eket state house of Assembly elections on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Nsidibe Akata, has felicitated with Afigh Iwaad Ekid and the Ekid people on the 2017 celebration of her day.
Dr.Akata in a message obtained by our medium, said, “Afigh Iwaad Ekid as a foremost socio-cultural organization has contributed immensely to the progress, peace and unity of Akwa Ibom State and beyond.”
He further said, it is with great pleasure that he extends his warm congratulations and best wishes to Afigh Iwaad Ekid as a prestigious organization and to all who have the goals of the organizations at heart, to collaborate in her achievements.
He sued for peace, and urged the ekid people to continuously think, act and pray for the continuous growth of our land.
He admonished the organization, to always live above board, which has been the hallmark that has made Afigh Iwaad Ekid stand out, as a socio cultural group, among the rest.
He called on the leadership of the group, to remain as a rallying point in Ekid, where generations to come, will always be proud to be identified with.
Above all, he prayed for God’s blessings on the organization, and to the people of Ekid.
