The Member representing Eket State constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon.David Lawrence, has extolled workers in Akwa Ibom State, to be committed in their assigned duties.
Hon.David made the statement on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, to commemorate the workers day in the country. He said, a day like this, signals the celebration of workers across board, for their steadfastness and commitment to their duties.
He advocated for love among the workers, and for them to see themselves as one. When the workers speak in one voice, and are united, they can make genuine demands to the government for an improved welfare, the lawmaker said.
He charged the workers from Ekid extraction, to continue to be law abiding, and give total support to the Governor Udom Emmanuel’s administration. He also said, his representation in the House of Assembly, will continue to yield positive results for the people.
The lawmaker has fixed Saturday, May 26, 2018, for his constituency briefing and empowerment, which is scheduled to hold at the council secretariat in Eket.
Meanwhile, workers in Akwa Ibom are on a march past at the stadium, to celebrate the 2018 workers day in Uyo.
