Ibesikpo Asutan Member, Attah, holds Thanksgiving service, as marriage clocks 12

Sunday, 9th July 2023 was indeed a memorable day for the Member, Representing Ibesikpo Asutan State Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources, Pastor Ubong Attah he returned to God in thanksgiving for his victory at the 2023 elections into the House of Assembly and twelfth anniversary in marriage.

Speaking at the well-attended event which took place at Restoration Grace Ministries and Government Primary School Okop Ndua Erong, the lawmaker attributed his emergence to the grace and power of the Mighty God, affirming that power belongs to God who gives to whom he pleases.

He expressed gratitude to all the fathers of faith who had supported him in prayers and thanked the political stakeholders of Ibesikpo Asutan for the confidence reposed on him together with ‘the Mighty God Campaign Organisations’ for their support.

According to him, “We have come into a new era of empowerment, I say thank you God – it was the mighty God that brought me this far, the only ailment I have in life is when I cannot give.

“9th July 2011 I wedded my wife, today is my twelfth anniversary in marriage and God added a feather to me today as a House of Assembly Member. Today is also significant because not only PDP vote for me in Ibesikpo, that is why I recognize IPAC and other parties who collapsed their structures in the election to deliver PDP, we delivered PDP 5/5, am representing Ibesikpo Asutan on Oversight, Representation, and law-making function. I will not disappoint my people”.

The Lawmaker, Hon. Ubong Attah who is also a Pastor in the Vineyard of the lord vowed to use his background, experience, and exposure in Agriculture to support Pastor Umo Eno in his passion for the agricultural revolution

“My late grandfather, Bassey Udo Adiaha Attah in the 1930s was sent outside the country in 1951 to study Agriculture and he established a farm in which I was one of the Directors, my experience in agriculture will enable me to support Pastor Umo Eno with good legislation, I urge all the youths of Ibesikpo Asutan to wake up and support Pastor Umo Eno for eight years in office.”

The high-powered event had in attendance, the Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Udeme Otong, Deputy Speaker KufreAbasi Edidem, Members of the 8th assembly, the political class, Fathers of Faith, Leadership of Ibesikpo Asutan Traditional Rulers Council, and many others.
