The drama of the purported decampees from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Akwa Ibom State and was well plotted by the Deputy Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, which Trail Reporters had earlier exposed on the eve of her constituency briefing, has been authenticated with other proves.
In an exclusive video, obtained by Trail Reporters, Felicia Bassey was quoted as saying, ” I will take this list to the Governor and cry to him and tell the Governor that the people have returned to PDP.”
Felicia, had also instructed the people they gathered in a compound, teaching them how to sing. saying, “listen, this is how you will sing when the Governor comes to Okobo.” “mmo yong ndi. O, mmo yong ndi..” literally meaning, I have returned, I have returned.
She further said, that, “All these things we are doing is’ utom’ meaning, ‘job’.”
In an exclusive report from Trail Reporters in the early hours to the stage managed defection, where thousands of fake decampees were to be announced, at the venue of the constituency briefing, it was hurriedly called off, to avoid the impending embarrassment it would have caused the party.
Although, Felicia was seen brandishing plain sheets in the video, Sources say, the plot has been planned for another day, which is yet to be decided.
Efforts to get the Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly to react to the content of the video were not successful, as her media aide had earlier vowed that Felicia Bassey cannot speak with our Reporter.
