Reports reaching Trail Reporters News Desk reveals that there is serious tension brewing amongst Members of the Delta State Local Government Service Commission over an expose of corrupt practices recently published by Trail Reporters News which has since gone viral online. Following the reports which alleged that the Secretary to the Delta State Civil Service Commission, Mr. Clement O. Anighoro aided and abetted the present Head Of Personnel Management (HPM) to be promoted and appointed illegally with forged documents after money had exchanged hands, an emergency meeting was fixed as directed by the Chairman of the Delta State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Joseph Otirhue summoning the 25 HPMs in charge of the 25 Local Government Councils.
Reliable sources within the Delta State Local Government Service Commission revealed that during the meeting which held today the 22nd of November, 2019, it was decided that before ICPC would swoop on them over their corrupt practices, they have decided to sack the whistle blower, Mr. Omodibbo Joseph who we gathered is a Staff of the Commission.

Speaking with one of the HPMs who was present at the meeting, it was confirmed that the planned sack of the Whistle blower, Mr. Omodibbo Joseph has been directed by the Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, Mr. Joseph Otirhue and has also directed a query letter to be issued on the whistle blower, Mr. Omodibbo Joseph over alleged leaking of official secrets and misconducts in order to frame him up for daring to expose the corrupt practices perpetrated by some members of the Delta State Local Government Service Commission under his leadership.
A source in the office of the Governor confirmed receipt of a petition against some members of the Delta State Local Government Service Commission earlier this week, but is unaware of the directives/action taken on the matter.
Also, further request made through messages to the HPM in charge of Uvwie Local Government Council, Mr. Joseph Akpodiete was not responded to as at Press time.
The Commission Chairman declined comment on the matter, when our Reporter contacted him.
