MOTHERS DAY: MEN WHO DECEIVE WOMEN ARE UNDER A CURSE

It was an awesome Sunday, March 26,2017, as christians Nationwide celebrated Mothers Day.

Christian Women who celebrated Mothers day at The African Church, St Paul’s Cathedral, Eket were thankful to God for preserving their life and their family.

Lady Mrs Idongesit Richard, wife of the resident Minister of the Church advised women to be Godfearing and hardworking. In her message captioned:

Mothers love – tool for better future. She thank God for is love towards mankind, herself, husband and the Church, she further appreciated the Bishop of Uyo Central Diocese of The African Church, His Lordship, Rt Rev James Bamidele for his visionary leadership and the lenten reflection bulletin.

Mrs Idongesit stated that every woman is a mother or a potential mother, saying that motherhood is a responsibility given to every woman and that every mother is expected to value/respect that responsibility, she called on all to emulate the lifestyles of Hannah, Abigail and Dorcas in the Bible and her Bishop’s wife, Lady Mrs Oluwatoyin Bamidele JP.

She spoke on mothers love – tool for better future, saying that love is a concern one has towards someone. she added that mothers should have the concern to;

1. Build with their tongue – proverbs 31:26

2. Stand up against evil 1.thesalonian5:22

3. Be hardworking proverbs 31:13

4. Be Prayerful 1sam 1:9-10

She added that, women should use their hand not their body and that they should not depend on men for everything. Base on the economy of the country, men take advantage in deceiving ladies in the name of marriage, help etc that such men are under a curse.

The Minister’s Wife prayed to God to renew His grace in women and also for God to bless Nigeria and the African Church.
